The museum houses 800 musical instruments, mostly percussion, sound sculptures, theater noise machines, organs, foundry machines and tools and a collection of historical documents.
It offers guided tours and educational tours for schools that have the following objectives:
- To disseminate knowledge of the world of music through the tradition of craftsmanship for the construction of musical instruments.
- Integrate school knowledge with the topics addressed in the various laboratories
- Learn the musical language through experience and entertainment
- Create an active and multi-sensory visit in which instruments are observed, listened to and played.
- Arouse curiosity, the desire to research, to discover and invent
- Use music as a therapy of the mind and for personal growth
